Connect and Restore Therapy, LLC
Last updated: September 10, 2026
This policy explains what information this website collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Connect and Restore Therapy, LLC is owned by Stacy Huddleston, LCSW. In this policy, “I,” “me,” and “my” refer to me and my practice.
This policy covers connectandrestoretherapy.com. It does not cover the health information I receive once you become a client, including information in my SimplePractice client portal and telehealth sessions. That information is protected by federal law (HIPAA) and Texas law, and how I handle it is described in my Notice of Privacy Practices.
Consultation request form. When you request a consultation, the form asks for your first name, your phone number, your preferred contact method, and, if you choose, your email address. The form also records the date, time, and page where it was submitted. This information is sent by email to my practice inbox so I can reach you. It is not stored on the website.
Please don’t include health information in the form. Submitting it does not make you a client or create a therapist–client relationship.
Email, phone, and text. If you contact me directly, I receive whatever you choose to send. Regular email and text messages are not fully secure, so please save health details for our conversation.
Psychology Today. Messages sent through my Psychology Today profile are handled under Psychology Today’s own privacy policy.
Like most websites, the servers that host this site keep basic technical records, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the date and time of each request. These records help keep the site running and secure.
This site does not use analytics, advertising tools, or social media tracking, and it does not follow your activity across other websites.
Cookies are small files a website can place on your device.
When you browse this website, it does not place cookies on your device for analytics, advertising, or tracking. That is why you will not see a cookie consent banner here.
The only cookies this site uses are set when someone logs in to manage the website. Those cookies are needed for the login to work and do not apply to visitors.
You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Doing so will not affect your use of this site.
If I ever add cookies that are not strictly necessary, I will update this section and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
I use the information you share to respond to your consultation request, schedule appointments, and answer your questions. I use technical records to keep the website secure and working properly. I may also use or disclose information when required by law.
I do not sell your information, share it for advertising, or add you to a marketing list.
A few service providers handle information on my behalf:
Each provider handles information under its own privacy and security terms.
This site links to Psychology Today, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn. When you follow those links, you leave my website, and those companies’ privacy policies apply.
Consultation request emails are kept in my practice email for as long as needed to respond and to maintain business records. Website backups are kept for a limited time and then deleted automatically. Server records are kept by my hosting provider under its own practices.
I use reasonable safeguards to protect information, including secure (HTTPS) connections, login protection, and email and backup services covered by a business associate agreement. No website or email system can be guaranteed completely secure.
My practice serves adults, and this website is intended for adults. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted information here, please contact me and I will delete it.
You may ask what information I have from your use of this website, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. I will honor these requests unless the law requires me to keep the information. To make a request, contact me using the information below.
This website and its contact form are not monitored for emergencies. If you are in immediate danger, call 911. If you are having thoughts of suicide or are in emotional distress, call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
I may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
